I can have the phone connected to the pc and use it perfectly, but once i unplug it, And plug the phone back in all it will do is charge.

Starting to get on my nerves having to re-boot every time i want to re-upload some new pictures!

Any help or link to a different post would be awesome

Thanks-Alot

I seem to get the phone showing up in Device Manager, once i re-plug it in. But thru viewing it in My Computer as a Removal disk, Nothing.
And then thru the SE File Manager nothing.

Sent an email to SE so well see what happens with that if all else fails were both screwd =S

You obviously has an aftermarket cable (OEM cable doesn't charge the phone) so SE isn't going to be able to help you with your question.

The K750i USB (OEM) cable does charge the phone.

Never had this problem, have you tried refreshing Device Manager?

Sounds weird though. You could try reinstalling the drivers and software too.

may be obvious, but have you clicked on the "safely remove hardware" icon and turned off the connection first? I find if i do not safely remove the drive first consequently the PC doesn't see the phone as a removable drive

I wasnt doing that, but i just tried it.

Going to 'Safely Remove hardware' and in there you have 'USB Mass Storage' then i will 'Stop' that. Remove the cable from the phone, Re-Plug the phone in and its not detecting..

Fresh install of windows, USB Drivers Installed. Only have 3 drivers that havent been installed are 'SM Bus Controller' 'Raid Controller' & 'Multimedia Controller'

Still no reply from SE, and still cant figure out a way to keep the device working.

I too have the same problem. but i got it solved.

if you are using win xp, manually unload the drivers (from system tray. green arrow icon) before removing the phone from usb cable. next time you plug it again, it will detect.
