SANDISK 2GB Memory Stick Ultra II Pro DUO work on the P910?? ANy views please?? What is the advantage of this "Ultra" thingy, and will it show any benifit (IF it works i.e.) on the P910 over the "ordinary Pro Duos".

yes it works fine but be aware that while P910i supports DUO pro it does not support parallel mode and so does not support the speed benefits that PRO duo offers to equipment that has full PRO duo support

edit: I do wish people wouldn't keep talking about this 1gb limit. SE only talked about 1gb when the P910 came out because that was all that was available at that time, but unless they physically restrict the P910 to 1gb (which they don't) it will be able support any PRO duo up to the theoretical maximum of 32gb if they should ever become available

hmm, it seems you are correct. although its been a long time since I had a P910 I was sure I formatted my memory sticks to FAT32 but the white paper does say the P910 only supports FAT16 thus limiting it to 2gb

to chip in a bit - FAT16's 2 GB limit is only in DOS / Win9x... It can do upto 4GB on WinNT / 2k / XP...
