My 1GB MS duo pro is corrupt. My P910i says so, and it cant format it, no matter how i try.

Tried with a MS-card reader, and it wont recognize the MS inside. Just sort of hangs when i enter it. Please tell me what shud i do (except return it to sandisk ofcourse!).

Thank u all

Md. : No Promises here, but... I had similar issues with normal MSD. Would detect in S7, but in P910 it had same issues as you. I tried to use it 2-3 times in S7 like normal days. Then: Luckly I had done a FULL manual backup (copying file/ directories with path) over BlueTooth. So I re created the same on the chip and it workd im P9 later. >< Now I dont know if my post is any help.. But try using the MSD Pro in a K750 or a compliant phone.. Else.. :( its gone to the 'Happy Hunting Grounds' This message was posted from a S700

Just a couple of cents here, but there may not be a corruption with the card. Have a look at the contacts to make sure they are all upright and in good condition.

I had a similar problem with a sony duo pro 1/2 gig, and it boiled down to a dodgy contact. I place a needle under the contacts to lift them up slight and it worked again!!!!!

best of luck,
