Hi peeps. I have a CDA 162005/11 R3A04. I don't know if it is the SE.COM web site but now I cannot find the new FW on the site. Or this is the latest FW already? Can anyone confirm? The phone is bought from Hong Kong.

Oh, but wait....simulatenously I went to the update service site and keyed in your CDA. This is what it says....
"Your device is not supported
CDA162005/11 is not supported or you have entered an incorrect number.
If the number is correct it means that your operator does not approve usage of the service for this device......"
You got your phone in HK. Makes me wonder whether its locked to some network. But then again, the info I got based on your CDA is it is an unbranded unit, so...........

In the mean time, do you have any more info about the source of your phone in HK? Might be an idea to verify whether it indeed is branded or not. If it is, a lot of posts have been written whether it is possible to go around it or not.

that's exactly what I got. I tried to search FW automatically but the service won't even start. i'm not sure if my phone is "branded" but pretty sure it's unlocked from factory. it comes with traditional chinese and that's about all i know about it. Should i just leave it........
