Just got a new K750i with a new contract/provider so has a new sim card.
Is there any way of transferring some text messages that I'd saved on my old phones (SE Z600) sim on to the new sim (confused yet?)

I know I could just resend/forward them to my new phone number but that would mean that the date they were originally sent and who actually sent them would change in the new phones display. Basically it's just for sentimental reasons I want to keep these messages.

Any ideas please?

back them up on a computer.... plug in your new phone and upload them. That is if you have a data cable

Unfortunately I don't have a data cable for the Z600

Is this the only way? and if so is this the cable I would need to get...
DCU-11 ?
