> P910a music player cannot find MP3's

When I copy MP3's onto the Memory Stick the music player cannot find them.
I can find and play them with the file manager but when I open the music player there are no music files listed. The MP3's are off of cd's they are not protected files from a online music store. Anyone know what I can do to fix this?

you should copy the mp3 to media folder> audio> unfiled (or what ever you named it)
P910i is so dumb that it cant search out side the range

yeh u have to have ur mp3s in the mediafiles\audio directory i keep mine in folders of the artist name if you put a folder containing tracks in the unfiled folder it cant see them i.e. media files\audio\unfiled\tracks\mp3.mp3 (wont work) has to be media files\audio\tracks\mp3.mp3 i.e. move the folders out of the unfiled folder! will work dan

Also make sure that the player is setup to see mp3s... this is done via the preferences Edit -> Preferences menu in the Manage Tracks window of the Music application.

I too have faced this for "some" MP3's.
Infact there was this corrupt 'wav' not playing on my S7 & I converted it to MP3 using BladeEnc.
Transfered to P910 it does NOT show up in Music Player by default. It does under Music-> Manage Tracks. Or thru Sounds and Alert-> Find Sound-> Select Audio ; where I have even set it as ringtone.
Maybe am mistaken- but only files with errors or those wrongly encoded dont show up..
