Hi
Which GPS Bluetooth you guys would recommend for the P910i, for use in the car?
I need it to have rechargeable batteries and to have a cigarette lighter adapter for re-charging.
(if it could use the chager from SE would be even better )

I searched a bit and found that the Route 66 package comes with "NMEA 0183 v2.2". Is it good?
I can't find this brand ....

Any suggestions are welcome!

NMEA is the standard for gps systems. Any bt gps will work. They are all rechargable and 99% come with car charger. Just look for the cheapist.

Do you think I should pay extra for XTrac support?
I believe it may make a big difference while on the city.

Hi,

A friend of mine has this one from the brand Fortuna:

This has the advantage of being able to recharge with any Nokia adaptor and you can even use any old Nokia 8000 series battery.

Cheers.

SirfStar III is the chipset that everyone is raving about now...currently slightly more expensive than the SirfStar II chipsets but greater sensitivity and, once locked, hold a lock better in poor reception areas.

Thank you for the info.
Do you know any models that use it?

How is Crux II ? Though its priced steep.. Someone with Palm used ENTAC ( or EMTAC?) in USA and seemed happy with it.
