Some software yes - if you are talking about making your P900 have capabilities like a P910 (e.g. a P905) then do a search here for P905.

Almost all P-series applications work on all p-series phones.
www.my-symbian.com and click the uiq section! - there you got a huge selection of apps for your p-series

Some will work, some won't.
Remember that the P910 has a larger internal memory and accepts larger memory sticks, so your program could be limited by either on a P900.
eg Route66 for P900 splits the UK map in to two to fit them on 128MB memory cards. The P910 version uses 135MB on a single larger card.
Upgrading the P900 to a P905 certainly overcomes the memory card issue.

I've searched for different threads but I didn't find any that would tell me how could I update the phone. Can I download that software? Can I do it myself? I just made an update for the p900 ... software wise, lost all contacts and didn't get what I want :\ maybe some one could point me to the right thread ... pls?

Cool: Thats really sad

! The Update Service and its FAQs do mention, taking a backup.. How could you not.
Essentialy the updates can at best make gradual minor changes within the limits of the phone.
A normal update will
NOT convert your P900 to a P905.
Please just check out the sites from previous posts. Mostly, they would mention the SW that would work on P900.
http://symbianwares.com is another site.

Where to get your P900 upgraded depends where in the world you are...plus you need a reputable supplier seeing as your sending your phone to a stranger. Beware scammers in some countries.
Here in the UK
www.aboveconnection.co.uk comes highly recommended.

Alright ... I got my contacts back though, from my old backup file ... I think all are there so thats not an issue any more.
I'll check the symbian forums as well then ... umm, but the thing is that I can't do the upgrade myself - did I understand that correct?

you CAN do it yourself, but only if you have lots of money and buy the right stuff, but its not worth doing it yourself, pay someone else to do it
