Hey i m new here names Josh - only useful forum i have come across so far for my p910i
I just got this phone and on starting it it all is in chinese or japanese or something i managed to get everything set still dont ask how but well is there any way to change this phone into only english and get rid of all chinese fonts and info

Hmm....you may want to take it to the SE service centre at Tardeo, and get them to flash it with R4A10....Looks like you've got firmware specific to pxxx manufactured for the Chinese market ( p910c)
You can also do an online firmware update using the syncstation , from the Sony Ericsson website.....the latest firmware available for the CDA you mentioned is R5A002....but R4A10 is just as rock solid....

Go to your Phones Main Display-> go to Control Panel (one which has a phone & spanner icon newt to it)-> Over there you will find THREE tabs-> Go to 'Other' (its the last tab) -> Probably the fifth (from the top) entry is Language Selection.
Choose 'UK English' or any language you can read.
Voila !

i tried flashing it myself but it says thht my service provider does not allow upgrade or some stuff like tht basuically i could not upgrade using the automatic or manual upgrade
is there any kind of flashing i could do myself any link to any files or anything
i m to used to pocket pc this is my first day with symbian have a long way to go
and trust me i dont have time to learn chinese anything i could do myself

Why risk it yourself, when Serv Center guys will do it for a Quid or so?

Download the language pack from the se website and upload it onto your phone using the sync station that came with the phone. the manual will tell you how to do it.
