Is it worth flashing to the older firmware to reap the benefits of the camera quality, or do the other updates provided by the newest firmware outweigh the camera difference?

If you're talking about picture quality, then there's already a few threads which show that in most cases the difference is quite negligible. Video quality is obviously much better in pre-R1J firmwares.. but you may have to put up with standby lockups/other bugs/generally slower UI

Hmm, thanks. I guess I'll just have to wait along with everyone else and hope that the new firmware combines enhanced camera quality and bug fixes.
