is there anyway that i can change the firmware of a P800 to the one of a P900. so that P800 can also record videos, play mp3 ringtones, etc.

As for me, In order to have a P800 like a P900 for the video recorder, I have bought the software "3gpp philipps camcoder pro" at handango.com.
It allowed you to make vidéo in 160 x 120 with sound for unlimited time.
WARNING: "CXC162001 R2A14" firmware (or later).

The P800 cant take the P900 firmware as the memory that takes the firmware on the P800 is smaller than the firmware for the P900. If you want all the functions of the P900 then you will have to buy a P900.
