You can visit the :se website
http://www.sonyericsson.com and use the online update service to update the firmware....You need to have the syncstation connected and PC suite installed ....the website will also help with stepwise instructions on how you can perform the online update yourself...cheers

Here's a link to find what the latest firmware versions for the P910,
http://uiqzone.org/software/firmware_p910.php
To find your phones version, with the phone on, open the flip.
Select the applications icon on the top bar, usually last one on right.
Select edit then System Information. Click the right facing arrow on bottom of screen to find your CDA number. Mines cda162005/3 with firmware R5A02.
Now go to the SE update site.
http://www.sonyericsson.com/spg.jsp?cc=global&lc=en&ver=4001&template=ps1_1_3_2&zone=ps&lm=ps1_1&pid=10183
You will need the Sun Java installed to update firmware. It won't work with MS java. This can be found at
http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
On the SE update where it asks you on manual verification to enter your CDA number, you only enter the numbers part. Not the letters CDA. i.e. 162005/3
Ths will check if your phone has the latest firmware.
The other way to get phone updated to latest firmware and to unlock and debrand is to take it to a friendly phone shop that will do these kind of services.

I am not sure but dont you have to make sure your network operator supports the firmware version you wish to run?

If you check the UIQZone website at
http://uiqzone.org/software/firmware_p910.php they have the network branded firmware versions on the bottom half of the page.
