Hey guys, taking to court i was just kidding.

I have become director of a company, and my colleugues have just made me a gift a 910i.

But what is it used to me when i cannot synchronise it with outlook?
-- NONE !

The problem is that i cannot synchronise with outlook or backup the phone. SE does not say that the phones are incompatibles with computers that are on networks or with computers that have a lot of programs working in the background.

I will not search any more. I will just take the phone back and demand my money. I was very happy with p900, but now this???

I am thinking now on moving on to nokias : 9xxx series
(note that this is not written by haris_el but by a friend of him that has used by permission of haris this post to solve his problem)

Thanks

You want to take it back and get a Nokia?...... No way.

The phone will syncronise with outlook, as per the above coment speak to customer care before you make that terrible decision of replacing it with an electronic turd (aka a Nokia)

P910i can synchronize with outlook with no problem at all!

I dont know what's wrong with your phone setting.

Mind to give a clearer description of your problems?

Ive never had any troubles syncing with outlook on my P910i. I have had working with networked pc's and my home pc which is always running loads of programs.
You dont describe if it comes up with any errors or ask for help. People on Esato will probably be able to solve your problem.

I always synchronized my P900 at my office computer that connected to the company network and have no problem at all.
Dunno about P910 cuz I don't have one but, logically, since P910 is an upgrade of P900, it would be no problem too.
Also, synchronizing can be done while I open other programs in my computer.

You need to uninstall the P900 synch software and change the docking bay for the new P910 bay. Now install the P910 software suite - this did it okay for me.

most problems connecting to the sync station with the p9xx and p800 i have found is a due to a bug there is a way around this, its a little annoying but its worth it!

1) place phone in sync station (must be installed and connected and phone swictched on and the USB cable enabled)

2) on the phone goto control panel -> connections -> cable

3) select connect by modem (top of screen)

4) click done

5) click cable again

6) put it back to pc connect

im sure you will find it connects now!

Good luck
