> W800 - O2 Upgrade?

Why is it that O2 says that W800 is out of stock when i try and upgrade?
Every other company seems to have it in stock when i want to order, evn Carphone warehouse and Phone 4U have it in stock!

I called O2 about the upgrade today and was told that they won't be on general release to their customers for a couple of weeks, in order for more 'snagging' to be done - don't know how true this is, or whether she just told me that because they're out of stock already...

O2 probaly have a backlog of orders already for these phones,
or there just saying that cos they have'nt a clue basically..
ive asked o2 online for phones which int available and they cannot give a straightforward answer.
best thing to do is just wait till the general release and count your lucky stars

Guess it's no really big deal to change my mobile number - as long as I remember to let everyone know!
Actually, I don't mind waiting - so long as I have it before my honeymoon on 1st November!

you know if you don't get it on release then you visit this forum and see all the faults with it here from other users then who knows you prob wish you never bothered with it..
does happen everyphone ive seen here has it's issues with the members

I just spoke to someone at o2 again... she made more sense... it's on the website, but for some reason they (as in telephone service) won't get the phone for a couple of weeks - she didn't know why they were behind, but at least it made more sense!
