I publish first part of review P800; tomorrow I'll publish second and then third part. Plus, may be compare between Nokia 7650 and P800.

It's very nice device in using.

Eldar, could you please show us a picture of the battery compartment with the battery removed so that we can see the bar code and SE internal model number given to the P800. Also we are all dying to see a picture taken from the P800...
Thank you.

@EldarMurtazin, i'd appreciate if you can share with us if the P800 does have a full spreadsheet and word applications and not just viewers. furthermore, did you find any personal finance application on the extra cd? and finally, can you send SMS with the detachable keypad on (phone mode, not pda mode).

thank you.

"As manufacturer declares the smartphone can work up to 400 hours in the standby mode and up to 13 hours in the talk mode. In the reality the values are much lower. In case of active usage (20 minutes of talking and about 1 hour using of different applications such as loudspeaker, calendar, alarm-clock, games) the phone worked only one day and a half. Without using power-consuming features (games, video player and others) it worked 2 days."

That sux, but hey, anyone u spends 750€ in a phone, surely can spend another 30€ for one extra battery

So how's the speed of the operating system?? Is it fast enough or still something like the T68 when you load something like themes or sms, it take quite a bit of time loading it..........how's the P800 in terms of this ??

to Starter.
Sorry, I finished all works with this sample by this time. Now, I’ve many another devices in lab(7210, 6610, Alcatel 715, LG8000). Also, I promised not to show this compartment, serial number and distributing manual from CD.

To Arnoldc
In this version of SW they include just viewers for MS Office files. As I know, they haven’t full application (like under Pocket PC2002 OS) to Symbian OS. This statement is right only for August.
Yes, you could send SMS in phone mode, but input not simple (too hard to push buttons, device haven’t T9 system).

To Zer0
Additional battery will be cost around 70 Euro, not less.

To caff
OS working normally, switching between two (non heavy, simple) application takes less than 1 sec. It’s comparable with Nokia 7650

To dannykipling
Thanks for such appreciation of my work. For all review I take around 60-70 pics.
