but why? i mean none of us live in such cold temperatures

no on a serious note, i doubt they could make a system that can be used at home while hosting the chip in such a cool environment. Even if they did, imagine the cost

Getting a Intel Northwood 2,8GHz to 4.339 GHz I think is good going

yes it is Horton. But the field of super conductors has still a long way to go. I mean, the so called 'high temperature' super conductors work at -72 degrees, which is still way too cold to put such conductors in normal working environment.

If only they could work out the formula for conductors that work in normal temperatures, boy can you imagine the speed at which our computers will work
The formula is somewhere in the toilet.. but no one knows how to get it

did that go over ur head?

well just the basics: most superconductors (not semiconductors) are made of material that is 99.99% similar to the bathroom tiles!! Thats why never get electricuted in the toilet!!

Scientists are trying to mix something with the tiles chemical content
so as to make it work in higher temperatures. If that comes through, there will be a whole lot more gadgets on this planet than we can imagine. Superconductors - have zero electrical resistance.
