Following on from a point in another thread, just wondering how long people keep the plastic cover on the screen for? I still have mine on my K750i as only had for a couple of days but am getting more and more tempted to peel it off to see the screen in all it's beauty. On my 6630 I kept the plastic on for all the time I had the phone...it appears that the Nokia 60 series screeen protectors are designed to be long lasting as they are really good quality and do not bubble and are hard to notice.
It is almost like a little celebration for me when I remove that plastic...like I am accepting the phone and that I will not be returning it to the retailer...it is now mine for keeps.
Right, here go's am taking it off....ooh that screen looks nice and bright, will give it a quick polish and .............shit

..................just dropped it:)

Dont peel it off mate. Ive had mine on for 3 months until it just fell off and now I cant find it. I know its tempting to peel it off but just leave it on. You will benefit in the long run.

why? that just means a higher proportion of the time you own the phone you don't get to use it's full potential. The Screen is shit hot, why waste it by covering it up.

The small amount of time you protect the screen isn't going to preserve the market value of the phone, so you might as well enjoy it

True, but when the phone cost so much you dont want to ruin it. Its just my luck that as soon as I remove the plastic I accidentally manage to slide it across the floor destroying the screen in the process.

i hate the screen plastics. once i open the box and take the phone oute the first thing i do is take that crappy plastic off !!!
if i wanna protect my phone ill buy a case !!! keeping the plastic wont help because the phone will get damaged on other parts of the facia, and should need replacement when trying to sell the phone...
...trust me ive had a lot of experience regarding this topic:P

Mine lasted about 30minutes until I realised the beauty that is the screen beneath.

I usually wait till after Ive made my first test call and make sure everything is in proper working order. Then I rip off the plastic and throw it in the trash.
