Is it possible to do a FULL and proper format on the P910 because when i use the menu or jog dial method it always leaves some info behind about the programs i have installed.
Thanks

Hi
Looks like an update is the only way of clearing everything thats been installed and reseting c drive to its factory settings.

in flip closed mode, enter jogdial up*jogdial down jogdial down*jogdial down*. we get an option to format internal disc. but here's my question that if i format internal disc, what's the result.default applications will be safe or deleted?

go into the service menu, then goto format internal disk
use jog dial >*
when the menu comes up its option 3, it will format and reset the phone to the original manufactured state (backup any information you want to keep it doesnt touch the external memory, this has to be done in flip closed mode

But the jog dial method is not a proper format it still leaves some user installed folders and files behind

yes but they are the files and folders needed to run your phone im afraid like where you contacts, sms etc are stored they are put back there when it resets, you can completely clear you c: drive just like if you did on a pc you would get rid of windows similar thing here
