Every time i download a pic from wap on my t610, it shows up as a red X. Is it because i have R7a? Or something else?

That (Red Cross oq broken image icon) depicts a corrupt or unreadable file. Just check if the said picture works on another device or Comp. More or Less, your device is okay if: it can properly show other pictures / smileys/icons from the net. It MOSTLY ought not be a FW issue.
