hi,
I just got an
SE p910a and am trying to use my
HS 810 Motorola Bluetooth Headset with it. With my Motorola V710 Phone, the headset works flawlessly, meaning that with the single button on it, I can start the ObeyMoto Voice Recognition, Make Cals, Hang Up and so on.
However with the P910a this does not seem to be the case. I am able to answer incoming phone calls, but
unable to initiate anything with the button click. When I click the button with the phone in idle mode (ofcourse connected via BT), nothing happens.
I have not been able to find a setting for triggering events on the click of the button on the bluetooth headset, however I would imagine due to Bluetooth itself being rather platform-independant, that the button on a Motorola Headset should work on a Sony Ericsson Phone.
SE's solutions was to buy one of their own headsets, Hah!
I also have another question, I am in need of a
speaker-indpendant voice recognition application for UIQ platforms so I can fill the void of ObeyMoto. I have tried
NowSpeak and
Cyberon Voice Commander, but they are far from functional, let alone perfect. The latter one turns the Jog Dial click into a double click which is annoying, and if you change the setting for the hotkey in control panel, it does not take effect. Does anyone know of a really good voice recognition software?
Thanks,
Sevan
