Guys...All of you who are into wap - surfing ...Beware of a site called silvershadow...It really f@@@@d up my phone...I bookmarked it and then when i quit surfing and tried to make calls or go to my address book etc etc my phone went bonkers !! The screen light went off..Everything went blank....As if it had a heart attack !...My knees began to wobble....I just couldnt figure out what had happened...Tried switching off the phone...But that didnt work...Even deleted some {precious} files...Yet the problem persisted...then god knows what came in my mind..i went to my saved bookmarks and deleted that particular one....And heavens ..{thanks to the good Lord} my phone was back to normal again....And here i am guys...Narrating the horror i just went through so that u can keep a watch for such @!¤#&*% sites

yip that happens to me alot!!! sometimes the screen flashes and then the phone just reboots... the worst ones are those that just freeze the phone, even if you try and switch it off nothing happens!! you have to remove the battery!!!!

Don't know how a bookmark can f**k up your phone.
It would be more convincing if you were browsing at the time.
I guess it's just (another) glitch on the firmware.

Well it happened for the first time. I have been using wap for quite some time now and have many bookmarks. But that particular one made my phone go crazy... When i deleted it everything was back to normal...God knows what is the real reason... Can someone solve this one?

It's happened to me as well, but with different sites... Maybe the cookie it left wasn't to the phone's liking? As per the fact that you used a Nokia, it can and does happen to any phone. In the final analysis, any mobile device is just that- a device, which is fallible.
