ok its simple. VGA cameras are pretty much low res - 640 by 480 . pics usually come out grainy like a webcam

a megapixel cam is much improved, infact, digital still cameras are measured in megapixels. if im not mistaken a 2 megapixel cam takes pics a 1600 by 1200 resolution. its a much clearer and better picture. so effectively the cam on the p910 is inferior to that of any phone with a megapixel camera. also you might consider that a flash sometimes makes a huge difference in picture quality. though most cellphones carry a very crappy flash.

hope that helps

If needed more info... the name sais it all.. mexa-pixel.. milions of pixels.. since a photo is made of pixels.. more pixels means more quality.. and of course a higher resolution... and the rest, opposite
