> VGA cams vs Megapixell cams

when i was comparing P910i's feature with other phones like K750i, i noticed one feature i did not understand. the cameras. in k750 i the megapixel was ofcourse shown as 2.0 megas and in P910i it was shown N/A (not applicable). can someone explian what exactly is the difference between megapixel cams and VGA cams...

ok its simple. VGA cameras are pretty much low res - 640 by 480 . pics usually come out grainy like a webcam
a megapixel cam is much improved, infact, digital still cameras are measured in megapixels. if im not mistaken a 2 megapixel cam takes pics a 1600 by 1200 resolution. its a much clearer and better picture. so effectively the cam on the p910 is inferior to that of any phone with a megapixel camera. also you might consider that a flash sometimes makes a huge difference in picture quality. though most cellphones carry a very crappy flash.

If needed more info... the name sais it all.. mexa-pixel.. milions of pixels.. since a photo is made of pixels.. more pixels means more quality.. and of course a higher resolution... and the rest, opposite
