Both equally good, but the graphic equalizer in Power mp3 gives it an edge, though it only works for mp3

i meant that the equalizer works only for mp3 and not for ogg. The player handles both

While PowerMP3 might have a lot of gizmos onboard, it misses -- for me, at least -- the one indispensible thing Oggplay has: the ability to store music files in subfolders on media.
Apparently, with PowerMP3 everything _has_ to be stored on the \Media files\Audio\ -directory (it's even incorrectly named in the manual, go figure) and the programme will _not_ search into subdirectories. This effectively means that I have to dump all my music into one big lump on my stick and spend the next significant portion of Eternity setting up playlists.
With Oggplay, I just put the direcory \Ballbreaker into \Media files\Audio\ACDC\, hit "scan for new files" and start headbanging.
So, for me it's "Yay! Oggplay!" and "Boo! Hiss! PowerMP3!"

sorry pal, but i dont have this problem, all my files are in audio\artist\track.mp3 etc you cant have them in audio\unfiled\artist\track.mp3 this doesnt work even on the inbuilt version.
PowerMP3 Definately beats any player out there!

Hi,
I DO NOT have this issue either. I have multiple sub folders in MSD Pro 1GB\media files\audio\ and thus far I already created 5 playlists out of 5 different sub folders. I now hoped to see future versions of PowerMP3 supports EQ for Ogg and AAC and yes, playlist support for selecting songs through multiple sub folders like W800i
Cheers
