Have an Orange branded 750i running R1L002. Am preety much bug free and am happy as was really worried about the standby bug! From my understanding the first firmware issue R1A044 was buggy and that R1L002 is a definate improvement.
I do love the phone but have to say I have not been impressed as I thought I would be by the camera (imo S700i LOTS better). Some people have said that the bitrate for the camera on the newer firmware is alot lower than on the original firmware and the quality is alot worse.......so, does this effect the video and camera? I would have thought would just have effected the video quailty. Just wondering now if should downgrade the firmware in order to get a nice camera!

u should do a comparison with the different firmwares... R1A044 and R1L002. see which is better/worse!

stupid advice.

you cannot just easily downgrade and upgrade firmware to test differences in camquality.

to answer the question, there are no mentionable differences in stillcam quality between the firmwares, only in videoquality.

The S700 cam is definately not lots better, perhaps you just need to learn to use the K750 cam.
I find the K750 cam really good, please specify more clearly why you think the quality is poor ?

Perhaps compare to some of the pictures displayed in the K750 picture thread.

I meant a picture comparison... post your pics with your new firmware and others can post theirs with whatever firmware they got!!!!
