Fairly straightforward. Here are the settings:
Go to Messages
Select Email
Go to Options
Go to edit account
Select Add new
Account Name: enter Cox Email
Connect using: AWS Data
Protocol: POP3
Incoming serv.: pop.(west).cox.net (check with cox on this address - based on your location)
Incoming port:110 (default)
Mailbox: Your mailbox w/out@cox.net
Password: Your password
Outgoing server: smtp.(west).cox.net (check with cox on this address - based on your location)
Outgoing port: 25 (default)
eamil addy: your email addy on this account
Download: Headers & Text
From: (Optional - your name)
Signature: NO
Copy outgoing: email acct for archiving(if U care)
Check Interval: select timeframe if you want auto checking.
You're done. You can access email w/out having to mMode. enjoy
