Is it a bad idea to make seminar presentation in flash instead of making in powerpoint ?
Or powerpoint is meant for making presentation oficialy kinda ¿

It's a great idea doing a seminar in flash Just do go overboard with the animations. Make them more professional looking. for eg - dont make the titles fly out of nowhere and land in place etc etc

Flash certainly gives you much more scope for your presentation but as the previous poster says, you could go overboard with it and make it a little too 'flash' (excuse the pun!)

I'm thinking that it might be a waste of your time and effort. Your audience are either likely to be pretty computer illiterate and not appreciate that you've spent ages making a presentation in flash or they're going to be a bit geeky and think 'Why did they do that in flash when they could have used powerepoint and done it in a fraction of the time?'

The only advantage I can think of is that you can stick it directly on a web page after the event, rather than people having to download the powerpoint presentation file first in order to view it. If you're not planning on sticking it on the web, I'd use powerpoint unless there's a very good reason to use the extra animation features that flash provides.
