Got the TMS 2in1 cable, a few credits, and away I went to flash up to the W800i, my batt was fully charged, however I did not think to increase the baud speed...(d0h)
Over an hour later, the firmware had installed, and half way through the lang file, it failed... saying my batt was dead!! Im sure my batt was fully charged.
I know my mistake was not maxing the baud speed, however, I thought this cable was supposed to provide power to the phone so that didnt happen - I klnow some cables tequire an additional battery during flash, but this cable doesnt.
As suggested in the really handy TIP tms displayed, I managed to borrow a friends phone, and charged my battery for 3 hours... Tried to reflash the phone, and the same happened again!!
My phone will now not do anything....!!! I get the impression that as long as the batt is fully charged (AGAIN), I should be able to revive my phone by flashing againg... is this true, or is it dead???
How can I fix - I am now convinced that I cannot even charge the battery on mine, or a different phone...
Anyone advise???

Dont worry about, it happened to me exactly yesterday, what i did to fix it was to reupdate thru sony website and it works because your phone is not completely dead but just won't turn on, it will still detect the eprom when holding the C button before plug in the cable, so go to sonyericsson website and update your phone again

My phone is not detected by the computer when it is connected... abosolutely nothing, so I dont know how SE update service will even know its there!!!
Cant even install the SEUS drivers, as hoding down C, and plugging in cable does not invoke the new hardware detection procedure, allowing me to install the drivers...
My phone is DEAD!!!

Its not dead, a reflash will revive it. Unless the eeprom was killed during the flash, which actually happened to me once flashing a k700.
However you may need to have the reflash done at a servicecenter if you cannot get connection between the phone and your computer, and you cannot get the unofficial flasher to reflash properly.
The drivers needed for SEUS should have been installed before the phone went dead. If you have a friend with a K750 you could perhaps borrow his in order to get the flashdrivers installed on your computer. Once installed, SEUS updateservice should be able to pick up when you connect your phone holding down the "C" button. You may need to start the updateservice with your friends K750 connected to the computer (SEUS needs to first check current firmware on the phone), then when it asks you to connect holding down the C-button switch phones to your own and connect it pressing the C-button
I wish you best of luck

hi, having the same problem here, phone got disconnected half way thru the update and now not working, computer not even recognising it is plugged in. and charger will not charge it either, just wondering if you resolved to problem or did it result in a trip to the service centre.
also if i sent it to the service centre does anyone know if they would replace it for a new one or repair it, not sure how easily it would be repaired.
thanks
