> k700 turn on problem

There is a problem with one friend's sony ericsson k700.
If i don't insert a sim card inside it, when i turn it on, vibration works one time, shows "Sony Ericsson", it makes by itself some reboots (monitor is only lighten and then turn off - many times) and after some seconds it goes to the main menu (i can see up-left the signal's icon & IR's icon, and up-right the battery's icon) and in a frame writes: Insest SIM.
If i insert the sim card, when i turn it on, vibration works one time, shows "Sony Ericsson", and it makes by itself reboots (monitor is lighten and then turn off, lighten again and turn off etc..) until i get the battery off...
Does anybody knows what maybe the problem? Can i fix it by myself?
