> T68 battery problem with IR

I have a T68i and whenver I try to use IR to send/receive anything, My battery looks empty. If I switch Off/On, it comes back to its previous status before doing the Ir transfer. I currently have R2A
Anyone seens this?
Would a R2E0006 FW upgrade solve that ?

Get the firmware updated to R2E006 and it should work fine.
