> Wap download limit

There often seems to be a limit to how much you can dowload at once via wap. I called my operator s custumor service and insisted to talk with a technician(other employees other than technicians really dont seem to know what they re talking about and have often given me completetely wrong information).
It was confirmed to me that this limitation is implemented by the operators to prevent their custumors from using wap as their only internet access instead of using the more expenssive web-gprs access.
The limit in my case is around 250ko. Some have reported even lower limits.
I would like to know whether or not there is a way to avoid this dl limit.
The technician didn t give me many details on how to do this... as we certainly can understand:)
Could those who know something about this subject please post the info they have here?
Has anyone for examle tryed changing the proxy-settings?
Does it work? If it does, what should they be changed into?
Thanks in advance, any good info would be greatly appreciated.
