I have used one before but got fed up carrying the chatboard around as well as the phone. I actuall found it easier to text useing the phone rather than the board as you have to hold the phone and the board while typing.

Chatboard is better to use if you want to write email or multiple sms. For short sms is quicker way (and more comfortable) to use phone keypad. That's my opinion
