> NAVICORE - gps navigation
Bookmark topic
I have see a number of threads for the other leading gps navigation solutions e.g. Wayfinder, Route66, TomTom but there is nothing for Navicore.
I have seen a few comments about Navicore in threads for other products.
So I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread specifically for Navicore.
Judging by their website, and the very few comments I have seen, the product seems reasonable. But I am hoping thata few of you Esato members have used the product or seen it in action and can share your experiences with us.
The product can be seen here:
www.navicore.co.uk
Thanks in advance.

I own a copy. It isn't perfect, but I really like it so far.
I'm slowly writing a review of it which I'll post soon.

Thanks for your input.
I look forward to reading your review.
One feature that has been mentioned by a user (who posted in a thread related to Route 66) is that, in flip closed mode Navicore still provides voice guidance whereas Route 66 simply stops working.
I am not sure but i think TomTom still works, both visually and audibly, in flip closed mode? Or am I confusing it with Wayfinder?

Yes, navicore still runs in flip closed mode, providing voice guidance.
My daugher has been using AgileMessenger on it talking to her friends while Navicore was running, and I could still hear the instructions

Hi, I was under the assumption that Navicore isn't yet available yet for p900/p910 ?

It's been out for the p910 for a month or two.

I've not seen it out for the p900.
