> Use P800 as a remote?

I read this article:
http://www.mobil.se/nyheter/visa.asp?id=5538&sid=1 (in swedish only, sorry) that you could buy a program for Palm that lets you use your PDA as a remote control.
It would be great if someone wrote a similar program for Symbian OS so you could use the P800 as a remote. Since the P800 has IR, it should be possible.

Hehe, det händer nog inte, ganska så omöjligt att få TV:n att gå sönder med att skicka en IR-signal

Should be no problem, it is available for 7650. I use to have the program for a palm, the only problem is that the IR port is not generally powerful enough to go more than 2 or 3 meters (mine only worked over about 1 meter), you had to buy an IR-booster to clip onto the palm to get it to work properly.
A good toy though. I also like using the camera as a barcode reader. (no real use for me but an interesting application for the camera and email for automated parcel tracking, shopping, etc)
