> Master reset P910i at power up?
Bookmark topic
I've gone and screwed up my P910i trying to unlock it (now just get a "Wrong SIM card" message at power up after I've entered the SIM lock code).
I'm guessing a reset might help. But how can I do this if I can't progress into the P910i's menus? Is there a way to do a reset a power up using some button press combination perhaps?
Any other advice re my general problem will be greatfully received!!

When unlocking a phone you enable or disable the sim locks. A master reset will not solve this problem. It sounds as though you have disable the necessary sim locks for you operator. The latest unlocking software should solve this problem.

I must admit I want to leave a reset until the very last possible moment!!
I can get into the service menu, and I can see that there are now no network locks in force.
I don't understand what you mean when you say I've disabled the necessary sim locks -- isn't that what I wanted to happen?
What will the 'latest' software do that the software I used (PBB v1.2) didn't / can't do?
Thanks for your advice.

A mate of mine got his P910i unlocked 'while-you-wait' at our local 'Radio Shack' electronics shop - I didn't know these guys did this - maybe if you have a local similar store they could help you out...
