I woke up this morning and my phones screen was blank and lit along with the keypad. So I tried to turn it off and it wouldn't, so I popped out the battery and put it back in. When I turned the phone back on it says insert SIM, so i took out the SIM and out it back in, and it still says it. I've tried my old simcard and it works fine.
Any ideas?

take it back to wherever you got it and get a replacement.
if you bought it second hand you'll have to take it to a se service centre and let them have a look at it.

I'll be doing that in a while, but I don't understand why my old SIM card works fine in it.
Edit - I tried the simcard in my moms phone and it has the same problem, so it looks liek i need a new simcard.
