I'm posting my experience because i'm so p*ssed off with ebay.
This was my first time selling on ebay, and i assure you, my last!
Making the long story short. I've tried TWICE to sell the same V600i on ebay.
First, a friggin nigerian scammer tried to rip me off, which obviously he didn't succeed. Lost 3 days with it and had to start over again.
Second time, a singapurese (?) buyer bought the phone although i clearly stated i would ship only to US, CAN and EU. Still haven't paid for it (don't expect it to happen anyway) but i'm obligated to wait until 30/8 (?????) to start a non-paying bidder action.
In the mean time, phone is losing its value (as we all know) and i'm still stuck with it.
Currently Ebay SUCKS, as far as sellers are concerned. They do everything to protect the buyers, but sellers are on their own.
I'm sure many of you had this experience.
Share them with us, and how you solved it.

ebay's non-paying bider dispute centre is useless and takes to long i agree! however if you have stated you wont ship to that area then just relist the phone straight away instead of waiting around as you dont have to wait for it to have been settled before relisting!
also you can set bidder requirements ie. you can set it so that only members registered in countries you have listed you will post to can bid and that no one with negative feedback can bid. also if advertising using the buy it now feature then i always set it to demand instant payment via paypal as this puts of the scammers straight away (although also puts of anyone without a paypal account!) though i just got sick and tired of people pressing the buy it now button on my items and never paying! ebay aint perfect but do the above and you shouldnt have too much trouble!

Its a bit of a minefield, you just have to be careful. I got fleeced by a Powerseller but the dispute team sorted it out.

I so far haven't had any problems with Ebay, I had a Singaporean scammer once, but didn't have too many problems, just had to relist the phone which was a bit of a bind, but that was it.
As long as you use your common sense, and ensure you have cleared funds before shipping anything you should be OK

I sell stuff on ebay whenever I'm in need of a bit of spare cash
and if my memory serves me right, I've sold about 10 items, bought many more and have had no problems. I guess it's just pot luck with ebay, though I haven't sold any really high interest items (brand new phones, gadgets etc.) and I'm guessing that's the kind of area that's targeted for scammers.

I've sold about 500 items on ebay, over about 5 accounts (I tend to get kicked off

) And i've recieved legal threats from ebay and jacob&co, which isn't to good! Overall i'd have to say that most of my transactions are risk free. I mean there have been a few times where i have lost a few hundred, and kicked myself e.g.
I sold a breitling for Bentley watch to a canadian, who paid... then said he never recieved it, i provided tracking info, but paypal said i'm not covered (even though we were BOTH Verified) because the transaction was overseas. So he kept the Watch, and the money. This is more of a problem with paypal, but ebay did nothing at all to help me out.
Ebay is a great market place with genuine buyers, please don't be disheartened!
