I got same trouble with P800 and beleived it was something with the hardware but itīs not. Same problem accoured when imported the backup to another P800. So seems to be some software which causing it. SE support couldīnt answer as well. Can you open up Text Input in Control panel? On my device nothing is happen.

These are the options under text input in the control panel:

Primary input method:
CICsJotPro

Alternative input method:
Virtual Keyboard (Standard)

Flip closed input method:
Multitap with T9

KOsi- Did you try to remove the flip ? That adventure once gave me a jittery evening.. Just make sure you got the essentials backed up. Then a Master Reset. If that doesnt help, the SE doctors :P visit ! I also opine that for P910 you stick with R4 Firmware. I found it good enough. Just an odd Kern-Exe Prog Closed error, mostly when using its Internal I-net Browser This message was posted from a S700

Yes I know how that works but in the case with P800 absolutely NOTHING is happen when try to open Text Input. Thats weird so my g/f just purchased another P800 for that reason but after import the old backup it got same problem. Did contact SE support long time ago but they had know idea how to get it ok.
