Following on from the i-mate JAM which has been my number 1 phone since late last year and also following the recent discussion in the World's First Windows Mobile 5.0 Device where Expansys have given information about the i-mate version of the HTC Universal called the JasJar, today expansys are showing what seems to be the JAM replacement "available in a few weeks"

its called the K-JAM and sports Quad-band, EDGE, WI-FI and sliding keyboard.

The new version of the popular JAM will be here in a few weeks - the i-mate K-JAM keeps it's small form factor and adds Quad-Band GSM/GPRS, WiFi, a sliding keyboard and much more

unlike the JasJar, this is very likely to be my JAM replacement

the k jams pretty nice, but I hate these tiny keyboards all the PDA/Phones are putting in.
I mean, pressing a letter takes as much time as writing it on screen, or sometimes the keyboard is too tiny to even be called a Keyboard (P1000)

well, expansys are quoting 4 days availability for this now so I'll let you know. I can tell you that the jasjar keyboard is very usable
