Just had my phone nabbed from car smash n grab type affair, c#nts.

My question is can it be rechipped, i read somewhere there's a loophole where it's not illegal in UK and you can do it with your own PC

I hope this is gonna be stopped.

it is illegal in the UK for someone to change the IMEI of any handset in the UK... They cant re-chip it in any way... If u mean change the sim then even that wouldnt stop the network from blocking the fone from use!

If they sell the handset to someone abroad then thats a different matter as the bar only applies within the UK an not outside it.
