Hello, I was wondering if anyone on the forum had any info on the manufacturing techniques and processes used in manufacturing the earlier models of the Sony Walkman. (1979 onwards)
Reason being I am studying the Sony Walkman for my A2 in Product Design and require the info for my product study.
I have already searched the internet and will be visiting three museums tomorrow but any information received will be a great help.
Oh, and if anyone has a TPS-L2 lying around anywhere, do let me know

I had once been obsessed with Walky History coz of a Book Review on Akio and '79 factor. > > Check up Michael Shanks pages on Stanford.edu. There was also a WhitePaper of sorts dt.d Oct 03 on tingilinde.typepad.com (Starstuff section) . Then there is a nice History on www.alteich.com (no- its not a typo- its te
