Hello, my friends. This is the first time when I post on Esato.com and I want to tell you guys like this is a very helpful forum for smartphones users. Whatever, few problems occured on my P900 and maybe can find some responses here.

- it is possible to record with video camera directly to memorystick on communicorder soft? if yes, maybe few tips to me ? ...or other software ?

- can't uninstall Philips Camcorder. This error appear to me: "A problem occured during the uninstallation. Acces denied." and then "Acces denied". Can't find with a explorer utility the PhilpsCamc. on memory! Can someone explain me what is the problem and how can I resolve this ? ...precios memory is waste with that.

- can be replaced that SE movies logo when you start or stop your phone? A tip or a link is welcome !

Thanks for possible answers !!!

I can help with some anyway!

Philips camcoder was made for the p800 which didn't hav a camcorder as standard, so i guess it won't work as the standard SE software on the p900/910 is "better"

To save to the MS, if you go into communicorder in flip open mode, and at the top right, you switch over to the external disk/unfiled, when you next go into the camera in flip closed, it seems to save on the MS. I would hazard a guess though that if you remove the MS afterwards, it may revert back to the internal disk.

1. Yes. Select the storage destination you want by choosing from the available locations (top right side of the menu bar), or make a new one (by selecting "Edit Folders")

2. Philips Camcorder is for the P800 only. You're f**ked mate. See it as one of life's priceless lessons: Next time, do read the Friendly Manual. (solution? Probably a full backup, followed by a Master Reset)

3. Apparently you can; mine has an Orange movie. As to how: Who knows? (Seriously: Your Pee will need major brain surgery for that. My advice: Live with it)

- They're in ROM, so even if there was a tool to "remove" them, they would only be made invisible and not actually be gone.

Why not create a group (go top right in "Applications", select "Edit Folders" and make a new one) for those applications you never want to see again and stick them in there? Just don't ever go in that group, that's all.

- I think that's the highest cap battery for P9x0 available at the moment. I do know for a fact there are less powerful ones (I have two).

The login screen is part of the firmware. It can be customized, but not by regular users and I don't think it's possible to tweak the available firmware versions to include a personalized login movie (at least, nobody sofar has done it).

My battery says 04W49, but it also lists 1260 mAh. I did buy two cheap Li-Ion batteries (actually, I bought a charging station, the batteries came with it) that seem to be 950 or 1000 mAh only. Still, they work fine for those Ogg-heavy days when one battery just isn't enough. One advantage of Li-Ions: They hardly lose any charge when stored; I kept one for two weeks in my briefcase and it still listed over 95%.

No, the version of UIQ that is on the P910 does not allow standard rotation of text. Some applications have it, but it is not available on operating system level. However, IIRC there is a spreadsheet that does have landscape viewing. Can't remember its name though (and no, Documents To Go does not have it either). If it's only viewing that you want, you might want to check out RepliGo. Or you could try reducing the spreadsheet's screen font (usually found under Edit|Zoom).
