I bought this phone pre-owned and unlocked. My previous T616 prompts me whenever I have new voicemail but on this p800, it doens't do that. I checked my settings during a voicemail call and it still doens;t do that. Am I missing any settings on the phone itself?

I've never had a problem with Cingular Voicemail alerts and I jumped from T616 to P910.
Does the phone alert you properly for SMS and other messages?

Well I just got off the phone with Cingular and they're saying its due to the fact that this p800 is unlocked and may not be compatible with all of their systems. Everything seems to be fine except not getting the prompts for new voicemail....

Rambalu was complaining about a similar problem with his K750 on Cingular in the Boston area. He also seems to be having trouble with incoming calls. Seems some of their notifications and calls may only be available on the 850 band.
