okay i have a t68i and bought a data cable for my PC which is connected to the com port. All I want to do is to use the data cable to put new backgrounds to the phone. I installed Image Editor from the official site and I also installed the CD that came with my phone - this however never fully completes as I dont have outlook installed (and it keeps prompting to run it first!) - as I dont need/use it. I am running windows 98SE. Even after all this - the image editor still says the phone is not connected, system properties shows the com ports as being fine, so I cant understand what is going wrong? Any help please! thanks

The only other program you need to install is the mobile phone monitor(mpm). Make sure you got the latest version, check the software forum sticky post for the download links.
