About one month ago, I bought a k750i from Virgin Mobile. It's been one month, I turned off my phone last night before going to bed, and this morning, I couldn't turn it on! I tried charging it first for an hour and then trying, I tried a different fully charged battery, different sim cards, everything! It just won't turn on. The LCD screen would turn white, and then it would die. I called in SE and they said that it is most likely under warranty, but because i'm in Canada, it'll take 2.5 months to fix! This was my first SE phone, and I really don't want it to be the last because I absolutely most terribly love that phone. Can somebody please tell me what to do, and/or what i'm doing wrong? Thanks so much.

I'm thinking about sending it back to England and seeing if I can get an exchange or something. I just hope they still honor the 28 day exchange. Sigh.

I'm sorry i'm not too bright on this, but where would I get the firmware? (SE's site i presume), and how would I flash it if my phone refuses to turn on?

is there not a sony ericsson service centre in canada you can take it to? I am sure they can sort it out for you free cuz you still have the warranty.

Three things you could try:
Plug in USB cable into PC, hold down "c" on the K750i, plug phone into USB cable... See what the PC does - if anything.
If not, and you've updated the firmware via the web you could try the "recovery mode" part of SEUS...
Another thing is if you have paired the phone with another Bluetooth device, try turning the other bluetooth device on and then try your phone...
