Well, this doesnt work if you dont have the "Skreen Saver" app installed. From standby screen, press and hold '#' for 2 seconds. The screen saver that you have selected appears. When you press any key, it goes away and a dialog box appears asking whether you want to change the outgoing line. He you select yes, the 2nd line is used, which is marked by the digit 2 in the standby screen.

here are the screen shots:-

1)holding # brings up the screen saver



2)dialog comes when you press any key



3)trying to call from 2nd line

can't say anything about n-gage but this trick works with almost all nokias, from 3310 to 3230. should work with n-gage.

@whiz like i said, you need to have this skreen saver app running for it to work. If i deactivate it, the trick doesnt work for me either. And i tried it on my 6670.

@whiz here's what you should do to change the line if you dont have that app. Hold # for about 4 secs instead of 2.
