Here it is, used once but I still like my 616 better because it is smaller.

Can anyone tell me why you shouldn't send a phone to the philippines?

Well from the side of the sender there is really no reason not to, as long as you are secured in terms of payment (as with any transaction, regardless of destination) and the shipment is insured.

For the receiving party, however, there is the possibility of exorbitant customs duties and delayed arrival. Depending on how its sent, (EMS, standard mail, commercial parcel service, etc.) tax can be as little as the standard documentaion fee to as much as 50% of the value of the item. Unfortunately, despite set guidelines the duties are pretty much at the discretion of the customs officer who inspects the package. When i order stuff from Amazon (I live in the Philippines) I get some packages in as little as 2 weeks while others take almost 2 months (all times using their standard international shipping). Shipping via express couriers like Fedex, TNT, DHL are quick and safe but the cost is just too high.

Thanks a bunch. Sounds a bit unfortunate about your duties and such.

Sorry I need something with GSM 850 and 1900. A V3 would be great (if I was swapping) or even a T637 maybe and a bit of cash.
