> P910a ring not loud enough
Bookmark topic
Hey,
I am a new 910a user and I am hoping someone can afford me some help. I have found that the ring volume (set at the highest) is not loud enough for me, at least compared to my old t616. I am missing calls in my car if I have the radio on. Any ideas on how to increase the volume?
I also have the se car cradle for the 910a (no car kit) that I use with a hardwired cig lighter and handsfree. Is there any way to "trick" the phone into thinking it is in car mode rather than handsfree? I'd like the display to remain on while in the car holder without changing the settings each time I hit the road.
Thanks,
Matt

Try different ringtones. Some are louder than others.

Yes, a link to p2kman would be helpful. After reading about it, how would it boost my ring volume?

If you set your ring to an mp3 or wav, you can increase the volume of the file itself before sending it to the phone. This should help.
