Hi there,
I would just like to point out the heat resistance qualities of the k750. The other night after a few beers round a campfire there was a bit of an accident involving my phone and the fire.
As you can see the buttons and casing look a bit worse for wear but i was amazed to find the phone still functions perfectly and even the camera still works!

Time for a new casing i think, anyone know of an all black k750 case? Either that or i'll go for the w800 style orange middle bit and black k750 front and back.

How long was it in the fire ?

Perhaps you ought to test it with water next

good solid build quality. if that was a 8800 the steel case would have absorbed the heat more and melted the internals.

Cheers for the eBay link, i would really like one with the middle bit and lens cover black too but don't think there is such a thing!

It was in the fire for about 30 seconds before i managed to bash it out with a stick! As for the water test i'll give that a miss, a friend of mine dropped his old motorola in the toilet three times in two weeks and it's still going.

Funnily enough was just looking on mobilefun.co.uk

They sell all the casing parts seperatly so i might get creative. If it fails then i'll put the melted case back on and make an insurance claim!
