> P900 Network Email Problem

I have got a problem with my p900. Recently, after i received some wierd "email waiting" sms, in which the content was gibberish, i deleted it and then there was this network email icon appearing on the taskbar of my p900. It was faded out. There was nothing to be read when i tap on the icon. And it simply wont disappear. Pls help. Thanks alot.

Hi, I think I had a similar problem with a P900. The faded out indicator meant that the phone hadn't been able to download. I logged on to my email account on the pc and deleted the offending message - it was a 2MB file.

but this problem happen even before i set up an email account on my p900. after i set up my email account, there was no msg to be downloaded, but the icon is still there. sigh..

maybe u cud search for the item with a file explorer and delete it. maybe install cleanup and use that it shows up junk files and where they r located. if all else fails do a reset.

I got the same issue, how to remove the "Network Email" icon, I can't remove it, and dont want to do master reset.
