Hello there.

First of all, you'd have to activate web gprs from airtel.
Call them up and ask which services they offer for prepaid users.

For sendin and receiving emails from your phone, you'd have to set up a pop3 email account with a email provider.
Some free email servces which offer pop3 support are www.bluebottle.com and wap.mymail.ro

Let me know what happens and i'll help you set up an email account on your phone

And btw, welcome to Esato!!

I have GPRS & LIVE activated
I have my own 10 domains with POP3 & SMTP + Hotmail + 2 Yahoo + Sancharnet email accounts.

How to set-up email now.
BTW I can browse wap.sancharnet.in but it is neither sending nor recieving email.

I saw email option in message in z600 and I want to use it alongwith text and mms.

Hmmm.... i've never tried pop3 from vsnl and others on the phone becuse of ssl related complications...

And afaik yahoo pops is a paid service in India.. (i'd be happy if its otherwise!)

So...as i have tested bluebottle and mymail on the most basic of phones, i'm sure it is will work without problems on your phone.

I tried but it is not connecting. I tried both the profiles but nothing worked. I think I need to change profiles but what to change?

Sancharnet does not have ssl; instead it provides wapmail.

Yahoo is almost not paid service.

How can I collect all my mail from all my existing mail accounts through bluebottle or mymail? What is the security of email accounts with these services?
